1. About GSM

GSM is a football scouting and recruitment platform that connects players, licensed agents, clubs, academies, and coaches. Features vary by role: players and coaches primarily use the mobile app; clubs and agents use the web dashboard for search, comparison, offers, and portfolio management.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to register as a player. Users under 14 may not create an account unless a parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms on their behalf.

Agents must hold a valid FIFA license or equivalent authorization where required. Clubs and academies must provide accurate organizational details and complete verification before accessing certain features.

You must provide truthful information during registration and keep your account details up to date. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your role, credentials, or affiliation.

3. Account Registration and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@globalscoutme.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Each person should maintain only one account unless we explicitly authorize otherwise. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or fraud risk.

4. Identity Verification

To protect the integrity of the platform, GSM requires identity verification (KYC) for certain roles and features. You agree to submit accurate documents and cooperate with our verification partner (Smile Identity) and any follow-up checks we require.

Verification badges indicate that a check was completed at a point in time; they do not guarantee future conduct, contractual performance, or sporting ability. We may revoke verification status if information is found to be false, expired, or misleading.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase (for example, AI GSI Score reports). Prices, billing intervals, and included features are shown at checkout and may change for new purchases with reasonable notice.

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe and, where available, OPay. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel in accordance with the plan terms. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at purchase.

Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features until your account is brought current.

6. Your Content and Profile

You retain ownership of videos, photos, and other content you upload (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant GSM a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, process, and analyze that content to operate the platform — including generating AI outputs such as GSI Scores, attribute breakdowns, and scouting reports.

You represent that you have the rights to upload User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law. Do not upload content that is unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that exposes personal data of others without consent.

We may remove content or restrict profiles that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe harm the platform or other users.

7. AI and Scouting Outputs

GSM uses automated analysis to generate performance insights from uploaded footage. AI outputs are informational tools to support scouting decisions; they are not professional coaching advice, medical assessments, or guarantees of selection, transfer, or contract offers.

Clubs, agents, and players should exercise independent judgment and, where appropriate, seek professional advice before making recruitment or career decisions based on platform data.

8. Offers, Negotiations, and Contracts

GSM provides tools for clubs, agents, and players to discover one another, exchange offers, and negotiate terms within the platform. GSM is not a party to any employment, representation, or transfer agreement between users unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and signing any agreements with other users. You must comply with FIFA regulations, national federation rules, and applicable employment and agency laws in your jurisdiction.

Linking a player profile to a licensed agent must reflect a genuine representation relationship authorized by the player (or their guardian where applicable).

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse GSM, including by: scraping or bulk-downloading data without permission; attempting to bypass verification or access controls; sending spam or unsolicited commercial messages; manipulating scores or rankings; or using the platform for unlawful recruitment practices.

We may investigate violations and take action including warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, or permanent account termination.

10. Intellectual Property

GSM’s brand, software, design, and platform content (excluding User Content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the service except as permitted by law or with our written consent.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using GSM at any time and may request account closure by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the service becomes impractical.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses granted for operational logs, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers

GSM is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that any user will receive offers, trials, contracts, or representation, or that any recruitment outcome will result from use of the platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GSM and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or career opportunities arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to GSM in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred euros (€100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of GSM after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
